Several observations:

1. The original TOL has really DARK lighting! This is apparently a hallmark of cinematographer Conrad Hall.
2. Everyone smoked back in 1963.
   Everyone!
3. Sally Kellerman is
   a total babe!
   She will also appear later in
   The Bolero Shield.
4. Most of the shows have a
   "bear",
   which I finally realized is a
   monster.
   I was confused when a review of OBIT mentioned the episode's
   "bear."
   Why they call it a bear, I dunno.
5. Ivan Dixon
   (Hogan's Heroes)
   was in this episode.
6. Apparently the phrase
   "Round the ragged rock the ragged rascal ran."
   is some sort of sanity test. Who knew?
