MeTv showed the colorized version. Who likes it better in black and white? Or was it colorized at all??

It was shot in color but aired in black and white.

Since MeTV is showing them in order and 1-26 just aired, I'm guessing to OP is referring to the episode that aired exactly 26 weeks ago on MeTV. It was in color. Episode 2 was B&W. My guess (and I don't know) is they filmed and aired the pilot in color to attract viewers, but it was too expensive to do it for every episode until a couple of years later.
