Noticeably Sped Up?

Some of the songs seemed to go VERY fast this year. I guess it was done to fit in more commercials, rather than cutting out parts.
Did anyone else feel it was rushed this year?

I wouldn't know because I refuse to watch this, or any Christmas special, on broadcast TV because of cut scenes, time compression and other tinkering with the format. If a network can't air a special as it was intended to be seen, then don't bother.
I will stick with my DVD collection. -

I HATE how shows are edited for time/commercials! Luckily, I am converting my old 80s VHS tapes to DVD. The saddest moment of a Christmas show being edited was when I bought a commercially distributed version of Muppet Family Christmas. It was edited to do rights for several of the Christmas songs.
