I noticed in the early episodes of the original series, Captain Scarlet develops nausea and feels ill when Mysterons are in the vicinity, but as the series goes on, this doesn't happen. Anyone else notice this?

Yes and in the episode "Point 783", the 2nd mysteronized guy tell to Scarlet in the SPV what happened to your 6th sense?
