One of the most brilliantly directed openings in film history? I think so.
I'm talking about the first few minutes before it goes into color.
Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the cross-hairs and take them down - Rushmore (1998) -

In particular the static Over the shoulder shot of Sundance in the moments leading to him being accused of cheating. The close up focuses on his expressions as he is challenged to the duel give us the first indications of his character before the camera cuts to the Challenger's gun in view. The sight of the Challenger's gun in his holster reminds us of the danger Sundance is in.

Those actors were Paul Newman and Robert Redford, according to the director. Look it up in the.IMDB page. Paul and.Bob did the.acting differently so people would think they were different actors.
