i wasn't paying attention. but i noticed the camera man loved the zoom button, didn't he? i feel bad for the editor. at the begining when they first came after jackie. the editor must of had 7 peices of film of close up shots to splice together.

Yes, the kind of overdid it with those zooms, didn't they? I think they also repeated the same footage when Gleason attempts to leave the palace.
As for Gleason's eyes, they both appeared to be dark brown, so that may have been an optical illusion or contact lens:

(The condition is called heterochromia, and Dan Aykroyd, Kiefer Sutherland, Christopher Walken and possibly David Bowie have it.) -

In case anyone cares two years later, but Bowie doesn't have heterochromia. One of his eyes was damaged in a schoolyard fight when he was a boy. The injured eye isn't actually a different color, just pale from the injury.

I always care about Bowie, no matter how long it's been since my last post. I said "possibly" because I was unsure abut the reason for the different shade in the injured eye. Thanks for setting me straight!

I specifically looked for that after reading your post. You're correct: Gleason's right eye is greener than the left. I don't think they were drastically different, though. It was probably because of lighting.

No biggie. I went to school with someone who had one brown eye and one blue eye.
Watched this movie not too long ago. ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES I HAVE EVER WASTED MY TIME WATCHING! This movie is terrible and Joan Delaney is skinny and hard to look at. All I kept thinking when they showed her on screen was a skeleton with skin covering the bones. She makes an anorexic look chubby! -

I have to agree that it was probably just the lighting that caused the difference in eye color. Btw, no way are Jackie's eyes brown. As for Joan being so skinnythat was what was in vogue at the time. Because of models like Twiggy, skinny was all the rage, so many young actresses of the time looked anorexic. Probably some were, too, just to fit in.

I thought his eyes looked a combination of washy green, grey and blue in that scene. The way him and Ted Bessell were screwing their mouths about in nervous trepidation during the attempt to defuse the bomb was good.
