lol that show was on almost daily when I was a youngen. I also remember other shows that were funny because of their lameness like Highway to Heaven, Matlock, Andy Griffith. If it was one of those lame syndicated shows, my parents were likely watching it.

I knew you were a real fan lol. No, the rapist/murderer was the local blacksmith. The show was seriously disturbing at times though. Ma Ingalls came near to cutting off her own leg once when it became seriously infected and she was delirious.
