A very simple question: if this were ever remade, would they keep the title, or cave in to the feminazis expected problem with it?

It would never be called McMillan and Wife - it sounds too odd these days. They'd call it Mr. & Mrs. McMillan or The McMillans or something like that. But I'm not holding my breath for a remake - no one really remembers this show anymore.
