Yeah, it did seem at times like he was channeling Hoffman. I got a Ratso Rizzo vibe more than once from Pacino's character.

im just looking at his stils on here thinking this. i've always thought of them as being similar for some reason and i guess it's bc they've always looked alike.
also al looks like a beatle in this film like paul.
