Speaking of Linklater, I think "Waking Life" had un-named characters.

Edward Norton's character in Fight Club is just credited as 'The Narrator'.

Clint Eastwood plays a nameless character in a couple of his westerns.

In some of Harold Lloyd's early (silent) films, he is simply "The Boy" and his love interest is "The Girl".

In Billy Wilder's 'The seven-year itch' Marilyn Monroe's character is simply credited as 'The girl'.

Actually, they had names, or at least nicknames. In the original script, the girl, the aborigine and the little boy are, respectively, "Tits," "Dong," and "Cute Hiney."

In one scene at the beginning of the film, I'm sure the little boy shouts out 'But Greggy My Legs Ache'?

12 Angry Men. All the characters are refered to as "Juror 1" or "Juror 7" throughout; we only find out the names of two of them in the very last scene.

God that's a great movie, the name's in the Road just add to the bleakness of that film.

"The Naked Prey" (1966) starring and directed by Cornel Wild. Roegs directing and cinematography in Walkabout even looks kind of similar to The Naked Prey. Great minds think alike.
