I feel almost sac-religious saying that.
    pros: Charles Bronson,
    Michael Winner (dir.)
    uh
    yep, that's about it.
save yourself the what felt like 3 hours and go watch 'Death Wish'.
it had a cool premise. it was just executed all wrong. I guess the writing is what i had the biggest problem with. I guess this is one of those movies that passes because we can see it for what it could be.

As much as I wanted to like this film, I just couldn't. I turned it off half-way through just because I was so bored. Maybe it got better, but I didn't want to waste tiem trying to find out. The way he "fixed" people was interesting, bu other than that, totally boring. Bronson looked, sounded, and acted his worst. I think I enjoyed Death Wish 5 better.

No it didn't. You should stick to "Rush Hour 3"that's probably more up your alley.

The Mechanic is easily one of Bronson's best pictures, and I say that as a huge Bronson fan.

I did a Jan-Michael double feature this weekend. Just saw this movie last night. I thought this was a great film! I did see it after watching JMV in Defiance which I thought was just plain awful.

If not, then damn close - definitely in my Top 3.

Yeah, especially if you haven't seen The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Dirty Dozen, and Once Upon a Time in the Westnot to mention his 1972 peak with Chato's Land, The Velachi Papers, and of courseThe Mechanic. Stop thinking of the 1980s "auto pilot" Charlie when he did any old thing that came his way and take the time to watch the man at the peak of his game. Judging a performer on their lesser efforts is just a negative way of looking at the world and it isn't healthy, either. Now do your "homework" 😉
                                          All Hail Bronson. 😉
