    i think this isn't a bad movie. i guess anything from the 70's that's not an epic Oscar contender for that time is considered campy, but anyhow, this was a mainstream movie that actually did very well, and was quite decent… (the flashbacks of Heston and Yvette were campy I give you that, but, the rest wasn't, really)

        It is a disaster movie, which don't tend to hold up. Those plots get reused and recycled and modern iterations make the older ones look cheap.

          I don't see this one as campy at all. Alas older movies get stamped with that bullshit camp label simply because they're older movies period.
          You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
