Watched it as a kid and loved it. I never put it in the classic realm until watching the reruns on yt, gsn, and buzzer. That lack of stifling pc on the comedic talent is great.No topic is off limits and no one on the show is immune from a good natured insult.
Gene Rayburn is the perfect host for mg. It's frustrating when you're rooting for a hot contestant to win big and she gets some of the ding-a-lings to give the goofiest answers. Most of celebrities are b celebrities but they're usually the funniest. I wouldn't even dream of watching the Alec Baldwin version with a talentless Jim Belushi like crop of today's celebrities to choose from.
