    How is it possible that Gerard Hoffnung is listed as a writer for this show? He DIED in 1959.

      Maybe it's another 'Gerand Hoffnung'? though that is an unusual name.
      A typo even? sometimes TV credits have those

        Where is this. The only 2 writers listed on this site are "Raymond Allen", and "Michael Crawford".

          I think I have found the answer. He wrote a speach called the bricklayer. The lowering of the wendy house is heavely based on it. This is a link to the original.
