There had been a number of bad ideas with that show…though I'm happy I didn't see that much of it. But it was a show that should've ended a lot sooner than it had.
That's the show that started the
jump the shark
catch phrase.

I would think adding a martian to the cast would pretty much alienate more than half of your audience.
