An apt where the bathroom is the first room upon entering

That seems/looks uncomfortable. The apt next to mine has that, since it's a corner apt (whatever) and not laid out exactly like most. When the tenants walk in, the first sightand straight on is a bathroom (at least in this show, it was towards the right of the front door) Not something I'd go for.

But it's more of a washroom right? I didn't think there was a shower/tub in there.

I didn't realize. Just a sink? Did George's ex=friend, the TG, say she saw a "rat" (as a joke) in the bathroom or the 'tub/shower'?
