Roy Scheider - Utterly believable as Brody, Chief Of Police. He was born for this role.
Robert Shaw - Utterly believable as Quint, a time worn and surly fisherman. He was born for this role.
Richard Dreyfuss - Utterly believable as Hooper, a young upstart marine biologist who can still hold his own, especially with Quint. He was born for this role.
