Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Wonder Woman

Bionic Woman looked cheap the sets clothes makeup etc. I think Universal was trying to churn out a cheap show probably because teen boys were mostly the fans. Wonder Woman seemed to have had a bit more money spent by Warner Bros. The sets etc all look a tad better.

You mean like the really high production values in the 2 part episode Mind Stealers From Outer Space? Oh yeah, stunning production values there, like the Christmas tree tinsel they used on the aliens, and the aluminum foil as well. And that incredible stock footage of the United Nations, which looks like it was lifted from a movie from the 1950s. How about that creature that looked like the kids costume of Darth Vader? Or my personal favorite, the dazzling blasts from the aliens' ray gun that was apparently lifted from the Super Friends cartoon?

I am just talking about the quality of the film and the hair and makeup. Lindsay Wagner looked like they bought all her clothes at J.C. Penny and did her makeup in 20 minutes. The music was really bad too. Bad editing lighting everything.

Both Bionic Woman versions where pretty much abysmal. They tried to reboot the show in 2007, but it did not last that many episodes.
They forcefully yanked it of the air after only having aired 8 episodes 🙂

Don't forget "The Murderous Missile," with a missile that looked like it was made from a cardboard tube, hung by two clearly visible wires in front of an immobile blue sky background, with a cigarette in the back end producing an "exhaust trail" blown backward by a fan?

Have you ever seen "The Secrets of Isis" starring Joanna Cameron? That was super low budget like most children's television series.

I used to watch both series back then and found them pretty much on a par tbh
No doubt that Lynda was hotter though!
"A big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff"
                The Tenth Doctor explains all.
