This film was based on the life of a real child who was born without an immune system, and who spent most of his life inside a germ-free "bubble". Can anybody tell me whether there are currently any children or adults living with this condition, who were born with it like Tod - and, if so, can this disease now be cured or treated to any extent? Thanks!!!
