These always feel nostalgic. I grew up watching NYC stations:

ABC also had morning movies during the week days. I grew up during the 50's and 60's and recall them. I also grew up in the NYC area (still live here), and do recall watching The Million Dollar Movie when the same movie was on all week!
This is part of the reason I love old movies - those daytime movie shows!

I remember they had some where they did part 1 and part 2, and way too many commercials. Yes, there were a few I remember in the '70s they did repeats. I guess they didn't have enough movies to show, at least that they had rights to.

WOR was a local station and had an extremely limited budget, so thei pickings we’re slim.

            LOL!
This is from back in the day when there were still only three major networks, a bunch of syndicated independents, the TV still had a dial and adjusting knobs and when you could not record and had to put up with the ****ing commercials and this shows that showing movies on TV was a big deal.

True, the first VCRs was Betamax which was the late '70s. So before that you just had to watch live or not at all. However the quality of the shows in general was superior to today's.
