I live in the United States and am interested in exploring world cinema. Earlier this year, I discovered the films of Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan. I've seen two films from the middle of his career.
    Distant
was available through Netflix mail order and
    Climates
was available on Amazon Instant Video. Unfortunately, his very first feature -
    Kasaba (The Small Town)

    • seems rather difficult to find. According to the director's official website -
      http://www.nbcfilm.com/kasaba/dvd.php?mid=10
    • an English subtitled DVD of the film was released through Imaj Entertainment. Links to Turkish, French, and English language online retailers are provided, but when I click on the English link, I'm taken only to the homepage for the website, leaving me to do a manual search for the DVD. Unfortunately, when I type in the film's Turkish language title, I'm informed that the DVD is no longer available.
There's also a UK exclusive release, which contains both
      Kasaba
      and Ceylan's second film,
      Clouds of May
. I'd love to see both of these movies, but while Amazon has copies in stock -

    • the seller doesn't ship to the United States.
Has anyone here seen either of the films, and if so, do you know of a way that I could (legally) acquire them?
