As a matter of fact, people I've run across mostly seem to beat up on John Hughes for not doing so, but I think they've just forgotten what it's like to be a teenager. When you think the whole world revolves around you, and feel as though nobody understands you, and just want to fit in and have a good time. John Hughes' films have certain exaggerations and creative liberties in them, but I think he hit it spot-on. So what if his depictions are of social cliques? People seem to think that this is an inaccurate representation, but it is not. I think he did it very well.
      Breakfast Club 10/10 stars
      Ferris Bueller 10/10 stars
      Sixteen Candles 8/10 stars
      Pretty in Pink 8/10 stars
      Great movies.
