I was just wondering if this movie's availaible on DVD, preferably in Europe. I remember renting this one time after time from the video store when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it anywhere since. It might be very outdated but I'd love to watch it once more.

Yes, it is out on dvd. I bought it.
It is put out by Lagacy Entertainment and can be found on Amazon Ca. and also Amazon com.
I love these made for tv movies from that era.
Hope more will surface on dvd or run on tv.
I find the almost human noise or screams the beast makes when he is killed very disturbing.

Well, I've only seen region 1 coded DVDs so far, but I'll keep on looking.
        Thanks for the tip. 🙂

I got this packaged in a set of 20 dvds called "CHILLING: 20 Blood Curdling Horror Classics." IT was released by Mill Creek Entertainment. I found it in a local music store here in the US (Pennsylvania), so I don't know where else it's available.
(The front cover has a large picture of Vincent Price and a small picture skeleton chasing a woman.)

I've seen the 20 Horror Classics set advertised on late-night television.

Keep looking in dollar stores; I found mine in a dollar store last October in Clarkston, Washingtonnot a big help for you in Europe, but if you contact dollar stores in the US, you might get lucky.

Well, again, thank you all for the suggestions. I ordered it at play.com and it came in last week. Fortunately, it wasn't as dated as I had expected and although there was a huge amount of 'monster cam' shots (even more than I could remember) and the acting wasn't all that great throughout the movie, it is still very enjoyable and I'm certainly glad I had a chance to buy it. 🙂

I got it on a "Sasquatch Horror" triple feature DVD from Amazon.com. The lead film "Sasquatch The Legend of Bigfoot" is just brilliant classic 1977 Bigfoot material. Having been a teenager growing up in the Pacific Northwest at that time, it is pure nostaligia. Imagine sticking your head out a window at night, then turning to one side to see the sillouette of a big harry face looking right at you. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this is available on DVD. I'm not sure if it's good quality, but it's on Amazon.com for $4.99.

Just found this on DVD at Walmart for $5.00. It's part of the Creature Collection. A 2-Disc set with Snowbeast, Demon, Blood Tide, Lady Frankenstein, and Night Fright.

I rented it last winter from Netflix. Great memories. And overall, not a bad flick until things got monsterish toward the end. Terrific snow/mountain/ski footage.

Mill Creek just re-released this under the "12 Creature Features" set. I found it at Best Buy for $5.00. Not a bad deal and it upscaled greatly using my HD-DVD player.
