Coma is better. But you should know both movies are tackling different situations and conflict. Coma isnt about the rare occurrence of being awake while having an operation, like AWAKE is.
COma is a medical thriller movie based off a classic, great book

There's no comparison. Awake was a mildly interesting, decent for 1 view, flick. Coma is a very well made motion picture, with repeat viewings getting better each time.

It doesn't hold up all that well. I saw it in the movies recently at a revival and the audience spent a lot of time laughing at itparticularly the electrical execution scene. The Michael Douglas character's treatment of Bujold is not realistic based on her credentials and experience. There are times when it is a bit cheesy.
