I am moving this conversation over here so I don't have to sign out to read the replies and sign in to respond….
Some on their main accounts are not much better
I wouldn't know since I can never tell who uses it.
Does one need a main first before they can sign in as /. ?
        I didn't think one did.

Like is "embarrassment" even an emotion you are capable of feeling?

I tear up every time when Pa Kent collapses right after he did a little bonding with his adopted son and gave him that talk.

                                Damn, I'm good.

I didn't cry when his father collapsed
But, I did cry during the funeral scene in Smallville, when Clark says
                                  "
All those things I can do all those powers and I couldn't even save him.
                                  "
Not being able to stop "Death" was a real eye opener for him
And, in a way, it was also a real eye opener for any fan of Superman Comics, TV Shows, & Movies Because Superman is usually considered to be one of the most powerful, if not THE most powerful, superhero in comic book history. We ALL can easily think he can do anything and nothing can stop him, as long as Kryptonite is not around. It's easy to forget, and difficult to accept, that he does have limits.
It was a very emotional moment in the film.
Not only for a child dealing with the death of his father but also due to the fact, he was "Superman", and that he didn't have the power to win, and lost where it hurt him the most.
This scene also tied in with Lois' death
When he lost his father, he could not do anything about it. When Lois died, he relived the whole experience again, and went a little "nuts" while standing over Lois' body. Jor-el had told him not to interfere with Human History, but he didn't care now. He couldn't accept that another loved one died, because he wasn't there to save her. This time, he could fly, and he knew that if he could fly faster than the speed of light, he would be able to go back in time. He had to try, or he would not be able to live with himself. He succeeded and saved her.

                                  , on the road to
                                  Shambala
                                  !
                                  "

                                        No.
Apart from the opening music & credits, when Krypton explodes & he flies off, when he crashes & Ma & Pa find him, when Pa dies, the funeral, he leaveswell, all the way through nearly!
But when he talks to Brando for the first time in the Fortress of Solitude is the most blub provoking.
It's the only film where even the music brings a lump to my throat.
It's easily the best super-hero movie ever & one of the best movies ever full-stop.
But I'd never admit all that in a public forum 🙂

Yes it is the best SH movie- not swamped with special effects and silly crowd pleasing wisecracks.
It is genuinely moving and uplifting (no pun intended) - Avengers Assemble was good - but this beats it.
