I think this movie is really underrated! Ok, its far from very good, but its not that bad! People complain because after the 20 first minutes there's no more killing, but I tought the rest was also pretty good! It wasnt boring to me There was atleast a story and some characters developement contrarly to in a lot of similar movies Ok, the thing is pretty bad, but who care about that in a movie like this? A fun little exploitation movie that you just CAN'T take seriously or you'll hate it.
    UNDERRATED! I'd give it 7/10.

Nice to read your comments - however, I have to disagree, this film deserves every negative comment it gets. One of the things that really bugged me was how complacent the older brother was through the whole thing knowing his sister has been kidnapped or murdered? This actor needed to sort out his character's 'motivation' big time! I mean how crap was this actor?????? And dont get me started on Cameron Mitchell as the landlord. At least I saw the Tobe Hooper version which was pretty entertaining. Can't believe I paid 2.99 for this movie AND watched it twice to be sure . . . I am SUCH a dumb ass.

Yeah, it wasnt a classic, but for some reason it stuck with some people. Stephen King said that the nailgun kill scene was one of his favorites of alltime. It was based in part on a true story in 1967. Kelly Nichols (of porn fame) starred in it, and Demi Moore was turned down for the part as the sister (due to her gravely voice).
It is less than perfect film helmed by Dennis Donnelly (Charlies Angels). And it was done in part thanks to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which was run twice(! 75 and 77) and the producer wanted to exploit that particular genre.
