I agree, the Doug, Vanessa, Matthew, Adam crew still pretty well even though the show's chemistry was beginning to fade at that point. But the 1989-90 cast were just horrible, they couldn't act and it seemed so dumb. The show's topics were getting really stupid by then and everything was a fart or poop joke. It really degenerated by then and it's no wonder why they pulled the plug on the show in 90. It saw bettter days by then.

I didn't think the new cast was bad. The show's writing and presentation just wasn't as strong.

MOOSE! Totally, she was my first TV crush. That girl was just so awesome to me.
Then Alasdir, Dougie, Vanessa, Lisa, Adam, Kevin and mostly any of the early cast before the lame 1990 version when they were all pretty much gone.

I always thought Christine, Lisa, Doug, Vanessa and Alasdair were the core of the show, then they left, wasn't the same anymore. I like the quarrels between Doug and Vanessa, they hated each other in real life but they were adorable together, they had a love/hate relationship or love to hate relationship.

Agreed..that cast was strong but Moose was my favorite.
In retrospect, I think Les Lye was my favorite.
