The country that had kept us busy on the other side of the world while Hitler was killing millions, and taking the lives of many Americans while slowing down the process of stopping Hitler. They're shown as being cool, patient and fun while the German is the only villain. The latter is fine, no problem, but the Japanese seem to have gotten off scott free being graded on a Nazi curve. Only thing, they were helping the Nazis. They might as well have been killing the Jews as well, Steven.

Japanese-American citizens were sent to concentration camps during World War II. And there was a contingent of Japanese-American soldiers who fought the Japanese in the Pacific.
But Japan also invaded China and slaughtered and enslaved millions of Chinese.
However, Japan is now a good ally.
