No animal should ever be killed for a film

i didn't mean to come off as offensive, I'm not defending the movie (I didn't really like it). I agree that the animal killings were wrong, however it is time to move on. That kind of thing doesn't happen anymore in (most) movies. It's like reading a history book and being constantly bummed out about slavery. Yes slavery is wrong, but it's not around anymore.
also, don't read so much into the way i made my statement, did you lose sleep over the word "technically"? -

Are you saying animal cruelty doesn't exist anymore?? Because it does.
My Top 5:
Dawn of the Dead 78'
The Evil Dead
Day of the Dead 85'
Friday the 13th
Hellraiser -

i never said animal cruelty isn't around anymore, i said it wasn't used in movies anymore. the argument of this thread is that the use of animal cruelty in movies (or as a source of entertainment in general) is wrong, and it is, but for the most part that isn't around anymore in the US. Unless you count hunting for instance but that could be another subject completely.

It depends on what type of animal cruelty. The type that you see in Cannibal Holocaust doesn't really exist, simply because the 'cannibal-exploitation' genre died out years ago, and that was the biggest offender. Many of these cannibal films featured animal cruelty/killings, but you know what the PETA fanatics are getting pissed about now?

if they wanna change they country for the place where the american blacks (or which other new political corect defintion is en vogue) in usa live? or should we look back how formely slaves are building a new country called Liberia? Whas a great project..you dont have to hate black people or to feel better as a white one if you only know the history of this country. Then the Amistad movie from Spielberg which was sooooooooo happy ending sweet.until the story in real ends that protagonist of the movie will be after a boss for trading slaves.
Neverending story and this one only from a view of a provocateur
Discussion about movies and moral but also in a country which many states know today to execute a human on a electrical death chairhey put someone to be cooked on a stair until they die. Really sometimes i cant get some arguments for real. And then its hard to stay calme when you see how others around you just discuss the same hype at time but dont have a small knowledge about history and that bad or good only is a definiton from humans. IN WHICH TIME, IN WHICH COUNTRY OR CULTURE..also never the same.
i dont blame the people for trying making the world a better place. i wish sometimes i can just destroy it..not start building better one. just destroying.
but emotions and special persons are then which prevents me to try it justeven if i will fail so fast as i start

That's a smart way of looking at it and I'd never thought of that before. -

The only problem with that analogy is that people are still bummed out about slavery. There are people in America who aren't over it and they weren't even a part of it. That's why some people are still harping on about reparations. -

Um , thats a load of bull. Kids in China are forced to work at sweat shops for pay of a bowl of rice. And not to mention the large underground sex trade that goes on, women and children are kidnapped and then sold to be sex workers in foreign countries.
Thats all happening NOW
