Hey wasn't this guy a fantastic hammy villain? the way bad guys should be! intimidating, creepy but very distractingly quite charming and funny.
I read Hugh was a classically trained Shakespearean actor which would explain his perfect spoken diction and delivery of dialogue. I really liked him and he stole every scene he was in with such charisma and screen presence. He did look as though he enjoyed playing the role, well who wouldn't? bad guys are always more fun to play.
I did expect him to be in more high profile Hollywood roles after Mad Max. Did he get typecast or not want the attention? just very bit disappointing as I loved watching him. I mean straight after Mad Max not 35 years later covered in make up and costume in Fury Road. -

He is something, i'll give you that. Did Byrne move to hollywood to pursue his acting career? Getting big roles in hollywood is difficult, even if you're a classically trained professional actor (unless you're an A-lister).

One problem though - he was a sissy, which would never make him a gang leader.
I own you.
