Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Mad Max

I love the original Mad Max it's my favorite of the franchise.
The Road Warrior I find terribly overrated & Beyond Thunderdome was fun but weak.
Fury Road is a fun but it's lacking in substance.
To me the original Mad Max is the only legit good film of the franchise followed by Fury Road followed by Beyond Thunderdome & lastly The Road Warrior.
The Road Warrior is the only one I can do without.

Interesting. I actually think Fury Road has the most substance of any of them.

Wrong the vast majority of stunts in
            Fury Road
were achieved practically, with real, in-camera vehicles and stuntmen, just like in the previous three films. There are only a few scenes in the movie with very sparing CGI added, and the one big sequence involving the sandstorm.
