    at-at, as in saying the word 'at' twice. Sounds way cooler than saying each individual letter.

          Yes, when the movie came out, all the commercial (professional) pronunciations of the acronym AT-AT was "at at", as in the two words.

                  That's the way I've always said it just from seeing the name in print without hearing it in a movie or a commercial.
