IIRC, that is not his station wagon. It belonged to the hotel he was staying at.

Maybe it was a lender from the hotel. But when he leaves the car to get on the plane, he just leaves the window wound down.

I noticed something in the very beginning. When Ming sees our planet and asks its name, he acts like he's neaver heard "Earth" before, yet on one of those switches, he can create "Earthquakes"!

I've wondered about that, but I think an explanation is that I think Klytus
says "Earth" in a derogative way, as if the inhabitants of the planet called it "Dirt".

That is strange. If they'd never heard of earth, where did they learn English?
