First time watching 1981 movie, kind of a sleeper

Very good cast to start with and a lot of potential, but disappointing. Today they would create a series with it, whether or not it had potential. The one predictable scene was the side by side vans with guns blazing and the victims van never swerves slows down or turns off. Kind of big time flop.
