    Having grown up in Ireland where the word originated, it makes me wince when I hear Pleasence mispronounce it.
    Thank heavens Dan O'Herlihy was on hand for the next movie to better inform them!

            H2 is where the family/mysticism narrative started. Even though H2 was supposed to be the last one, it provided material for future sequels (like H4-H6) to build upon.

              I have to wonder then if there was some vague intention to take the Michael plot line into the territory that we get in Part 6 way back in 1979–80 when Part 2 was written.
              Don't forget Loomis jokingly saying "maybe someone around here gave him driving lessons" in the original film. Imagine those teachers faced with the responsibility of guaranteeing Michael stopping the car, getting out and handing back the keys!
