    And there was something I noticed that really stood out to me. Despite being released 30 years ago, I was struck by the fact that with a few exceptions, fashion, particularly male fashion, has not changed much in three decades. If you look at what the townies were wearing, you see people still dressed the same way these days.
    Like the saying goes, the more things change, the more things stay the same.

        Nah, some radio stations STILL play The Doors.
        Also: The 1981 hit single Slow Hand is clearly heard playing as Tom Cruise's character is lifting weights without a shirt

          Saw it again this morningbeen awhile. I graduated hs in '81 and many were listening to the Doors at the time still.
          It is true that fashion hasn't changed a whole lot for young guys over the last 30+ yearsas much as it changed from 1981 to 1951 anyway.
