Went to see a very hollowed and abandoned Brookside Close today. Was great to see the close but its alot smaller than you would imagine, houses have gone very run down aslo. For every Brookside fan its a definite must though! They are selling the houses off very soon so its the last chance that you will get to walk around in the back gardens and properly see the place

I visited it yesterday, can't believe how small it is in real life, i guess everything on TV appears larger though. Kinda sad to see it all overgrown and the houses all gutted, totally abandoned

We visited it on June 20th..a very friendly security guy let us in to roam aroundwe were also amazed at how small it wasit seemed a really long way from the corner by the post box to all the houses
it was very eerie..almost like that documentary 'Life after humans' that was on recently

I was hoping that the GoogleMaps van has stormed the security gates to get some images, but sadly not!! It gets as far as the security cabin and gate (which is looking a bit damaged!)
