Land the chopper as close as you can get in front of it.

"So do you think the shooter may have hit the dog from the chopper?"

I know that when Lars (the Norwegian with the rifle) shot and grazed Bennings, he also grazed the Dog-Thing as well.
If you look carefully at the Dog-Thing the moment it starts running again right as Bennings falls to the ground after getting grazed by Lars's bullet, you can see that it does have a wound on it. -

I have tried to watch it but just cannot get into it as I can with the first and best one which is Carpenter's.
I prefer the sense of mystery when they go and check out the Swede, um I mean, Norwegian base camp.
Not like there was any demand for the backstory.
Just the same old thing of H. Wood out of ideas. -

Agreed. The prequel was sadly not that well done. There're maybe one or two good moments, but overall, I've never wanted to watch it again. It was a story that didn't need to be told.
So many stories, so little time. -

I myself actually do like the Prequel although I do agree that it is not anywhere even close to being as good as the John Carpenter Movie.
I do hope at some point though that they will release a version of the Prequel that actually still does have all of the original practical effects still in it (that version does indeed exist).
