I think it's good that the RSPCA are being called out for how contradictory they are. Their purpose is to protect animals and yet they will go to a farm where the animals are being bred for torture and murder and then they are like, yep, all good here, nothing to worry about. It's bizarre. They should be called the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Some
Animals. -

I get what you mean and I agree.
We get these really sad charity commercials for ASPCA here in the USA.
All they show are companion animals which is what they are all about saving here.
While I think it's good the name does not fit.
They should be more honest with it as you suggest or expand it to not be all inclusive for just some species.
At least Wallace finally wakes the **** up to how cruel his cheese habit was.

These big charities are essentially just big business. The salaries of the people in charge are insane and I would imagine that a fraction of donations actually makes down to those the charity purports to help.

Yeah, they should break down where your money goes.
Out of every 100 what we collect from what you donate…
40 for advertising
30 for cheap products made in sweatshops, such as T shirts and tote bags, that we offer for "free" to you.
20 to our CEO.
5 to other staff.
5 to help what we say it is.
