"It was my voice, wasn't it?"
I actually cannot think of the original "Duke of Earl" song (even if I wanted to) without transposing it into the "Duke of Oil" version.

Yeah, and I can't say "It's possible", anymore without thinking of the lines following it in The Princess Bride, with Wesley lying on the bed and insulting Humperdinck.

You've reminded me when I first saw
        The Man With Two Brains

        • For a while it was my favourite film, never had I guffawed so much. But, like you, that damn
"Dook, dook, dook, dook of oil, oil, oil"
went round and round my head. For weeks and weeks and weeks!!
          Still a brilliant movie.

The ironic thing is that Randi Brooks had the most memorable lines in this movie. Not bad for a minute of screentime

I love this version. So freakin' funny! Every time I hear it, yep, this version pops in to my head. LOL

It wasn't the song that stuck in my mind. It was the hooker. Terrible voice Superb body.
On a serious note this was on TV last night not seen it for a few years. It's a really funny film.

Hilarious delivery of a killer line. And you can tell she invested both of her brains into coming up with that one!
