I felt the only positive thing is Shirley's acting. "giiiive her the shoooot"! was brilliant. The movie overall felt like an average tv movie, with no real emotional connections between the characters and with poor character development. It felt like something from a hallmark channel. Sure it had some hard subjects but so do many more moviesfrom a hallmark channel. I gave it a 6.
