Im actually surprised Velveeta didnt sue the writers, producers and actors of this movie. Because Velveetas whole marketing campaign revolves around it being the cheesiest thing on the planet. But Velveeta is the second most cheesy thing. This movie is the cheesiest.
There are so many plot holes its ridonkulous. The story line is so completely mired in over the top incredulity that it makes Star Wars look like a true story. From the minute they have a mock up village (stateside no less) that they can all run around and blow things up, to the comfortable victory over a bunch of Viet soldiers while using junk weapons, to the press conference at the end, this movie was mind boggling.
But seriously the good guys were all a good bit older than when they were first in Nam, and other than Blaster none of them looked to be in that great of shape. But in a very short period of time they not only become lethal killing machines again, but they also dominate a bunch of soldiers that are on active duty and been fighting constantly from birth.
Makes me wonder how Frank got left behind in the first place. I mean, if these guys are total Billy Bad-arses a number of years after getting out of the Army, I can only imagine how awesome they were in their prime.

Q: Do you know how many Vietnam vets it takes to screw in a lightbulb?
A; You weren't THERE man. You don't KNOW what it was like man. I saw some $*it man. I was THERE.

It's definitely cheesy, but I don't think the mock village/compound n Texas is all that unbelievable.

                My bio isn't blank.
