    He considered it a terrible show although he was on it during its decline. He did meet his wife on the show though.

        I just saw his episode the other night. The show was definitely in decline, third season was just all downhill; I can only imagine what was going on behind the scenes.

          <Airwolf, season 3, behind the scenes>
          <Ernest Borgnine shows up at Jan Michael Vincent's trailer….>
          (JMV) - "Who…who's knockin'? Come in, I guess."
          (Ernest) - "Hey, Jan, why, man, you're drunk as a skunk! Come on, pal, get some coffee in ya, we've got a scene to shoot!"
          (JMV) - "W…whatever ya (hic!) say, McHale…."
          (Ernest) - "Here ya go, some coffee - it's cold so you can gulp it all down…."
          (JMV) - "Hey….hey, Earn…know what's funny?"
          (Ernest) - "No, what's funny, pal?"
          (JMV) - "Ha ha hah….you were in
          The Devil's Rain
          !"
          (Ernest) - "Ahh, F____ this, I quit!"

            I googled him and Airwolf. I remember that episode. I think Cate and her friends were held hostage on a naval ship. BC looked like the typical 80s yuppie douchebag bad guy of the time.
            Tell you what…When I send my ex-wife her money…you can lick the stamps.
