        Transformer toys were groundbreaking and TMNT later on were also great.

            I agree.
            Toys, like Optimus Prime, had rubber wheels, and metallic parts.
            Now they are all plastic, plastic and more plastic.

              Those toys were amazing, but the best era is the Masterpiece line. Those things are just so impressive and in some cases looked like they just stepped off the t screen. I'd even give the current Combiner Wars and Titans lines the edge if they weren't so frugal with paint. I still do really love the original toys don't get me wrong just the molding and articulation of today is so amazing.

                Big time, so cool. I can remember watching some parents fight over some at Lionel Playworld right before Christmas 84. I was 11 and remember thinking what the hell is wrong with those people? Lol
