I don't always find movies hard to understand but this one was a legit mind-twister, does one have to watch it multiple times to understand it? What was the bad guys motives? And were they really that bad? Hmmmm

It was a good action comedy but the bad guys were pretty lame and stupid.

It's fairly basic: Victor Maitland is smuggling cocaine in LA, Michael Tandino works for him and ran off with those bearer bonds, they catch up to him in Detroit and kill him, Axel investigates.

You don't always find movies hard to understand. Hmmmmmmmmthis is a relatively simple movie that I understood perfectly well when I was around 10 years old. I seriously suggest you steer away from movies such as Memento and Inceptionyour mind will be blown!!
