I've seen mention that this great movie was based on a book. I tried to find it online, but nothing called "Firstborn" comes close to the synopsis of what the movie is about.
Does anybody have any information on the book's title and author?

Obviously, this is an "ancient" thread, but I remember reading the book as a kid. The cover looked like the movie poster on the movie's imdb page; however, I cannot seem to find it under the title "Firstborn" nor under "Moving In". Anyone know the author's name? It doesn't come up under Ron Koslow's name as I might have thought.

The novel is written by Steven Phillip Smith. ISBN # 0-671-54765-8
It is a novel based on the film screenplay. Used to love collecting these type of novels. They have certainly become less common in recent years. Too bad.
