I think somehow this is the definitive Friday the 13th, or if you like the definitive Jason Voorhees movie.

1,2 and 6 are my favourite, the first 2 had lots of atmosphere and genuinely feel creepy to me, 6 is a lot different to 1 & 2 but it's just a fun movie and seems 'glossier' than the others - I think 4 falls flat in the atmospheric department, its not scary and doesn't take advantage of the creepy woodland setting, it's not terrible or anything but I think it's kinda overrated - it's a very 'by the numbers' Friday movie imo
