I remember watching this movie when I was a kid around 10 years old. I just recently watched it and I have to say it is a great movie. The fact that it is 30 years old and still holds up. What a great performance by Jeff Bridges. I would love to see a sequel 30 years later with Jeff coming back to see his son and Jenny.
Does anyone know if there was ever going to be a sequel? -

Sometime after Bridges won his Oscar, there was talk of possibly doing a sequel with the two original leads and director Carpenter. Since then nothing has materialized unfortunately. I'd love to see that too.
