So he sings "New York, New York" just like Frank, but he says, "I can't get no satisfaction," like a robot. Seems like he would imitate both perfectly. I just watched this again after having seen it maybe 20 years ago.

I just watched it and I don't recall hearing the Stones..maybe he mimicked Devo's version of the song,which would make sense.

I think the alien had gotten far better at imitating human speech patterns by the time he heard Sinatra in the car, therefore his rendition was more accurate.
