Yes, Burton Gilliam was the foreman of the track work during the opening scene of Blazing Saddles. He led us with a rendition of "Camptown Races".

I love this actor. When I first saw Burton Gilliam in Blazing Saddles, I thought he looked like John Denver with dark hair. No matter how small his part, he always sells the character.
